Hunger in Gorinchem is more common than you think. It can happen to anyone that there are so many financial concerns that putting a nutritious and healthy meal on the table is not feasible for a while.
Then there is the Food Bank Gorinchem to help. Food, drink and the necessary basic needs, but also social contact and a listening ear. Where possible, we would like to refer you to other emergency services.

Whether you qualify for help depends on how much you have left over for food and drink each month. It works like this: we add up all the revenues, and deduct fixed costs. Think of rent, water and light. Then there is an amount left over for groceries and clothing. Is this amount lower than our ‘standard amount’? Then we are happy to help you.
